Sébastien Loeb (born 26 February 1974 in Haguenau, Alsace) is a French Rally driver currently driving for Citroën World Rally Team in the World Rally Championship (WRC). He won the World Championship a record eight times in a row, [1] and there are several other WRC entries, which including the most points wins and the podium finishes. Originally a gymnast, Loeb switched the Rally in 1995 and won the Junior World Rally Championship in 2001. Signed by the team of Citroën factory for the season of 2002, he and co-driver Daniel Elena took their debut WRC win, the same year in Rally Germany. After finishing second place-2 times of Germany for Petter Solberg by one point in 2003, Loeb took his drivers for the first ' title in 2004 continued with Citroën, he went on to record eighth consecutive World Championship in 2011. Loeb is tarmac expert, having won all but three rallies of this surface of the WRC since 2005, in addition to his success in Rally Loeb is a three time winner of the tournament champions, once the home of Henri Toivonen Memorial Trophy and the title "Champion of Champions" in 2003, 2005 and 2008.
